As a mother of 3 children, Cerissa thrives to create a warm- loving environment for her families and staff, as she believes this is one of the most important aspects of a Child Care Center.

Cerissa and her staff are blessed to have made such an amazing impact on their families. Creating special bonds between each child, their family, and our center. It can truly become your home away from home feeling. This type of relationship, and a strong and creative curriculum, your child will have a positive experience at Rising Star

Cerissa looks forward to meeting your families and sharing this amazing opportunity with you!

Harmony & Heart

Your child moves, dances and sings. The benefit of music for young minds is undeniable. We take it a step further, integrating songs and stories throughout the day to help children grow not just as musicians but also as people.

Your child learns and practices concepts like science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) continuously throughout the day as part of our exclusive, integrated approach.

Language, Reading and Writing

Your child expands his vocabulary, connects sounds with letters, and expresses thoughts through writing. Parents delight when children begin reading stories to them!

Our Philosophy

Our primary principle is to promote participation in age-appropriate activities such as unstructured hands-on play, group story-time and themed activities. Early Learning Domains

Every child learns in different ways. Our approach provides teachers with the tools and guidance to accommodate children’s natural curiosity and fully support each child while building problem-solving skills and confidence.

The early years are critical for literacy development. From sign language and story time in younger classrooms, to phonics and eventually reading and writing in our older ones, your child develops important literacy skills and a love of reading.

Visual and creative arts stimulate imagination and creative thinking. In our program, children discover early and contemporary artists and practice their techniques in their own masterpieces.

Our social studies domain helps children understand themselves and their relationships with family and friends. They learn how they are alike or different from their friends and how, as individuals, they can contribute to society.

Children are natural scientists. They use their senses and special technological tools to observe and investigate their world, recording and analyzing their findings through writing, drawing or taking photos.

Research shows social-emotional intelligence is one of the best predictors of future success. Our approach weaves character development and life skills into daily experiences so children can learn behavioral and relationship skills.

Early experiences with math help children develop reasoning skills, inventiveness and persistence in problem solving. Our math program introduces numbers, measurement and patterns through hands-on learning.
